Monday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – A Wryneck was on Peninnis and the Black-necked Grebe was in Porthcressa Bay. A Firecrest, a Pied Flycatcher, a Spotted Flycatcher and a Common Whitethroat were on the Garrison. The 10 Pale-bellied Brent Geese were still at Porthloo and a Hobby was at Porth Hellick.
St. Agnes – The Lesser Yellowlegs was still on the Big Pool.
Tresco – A Woodchat Shrike, a Little Stint, a Wryneck, a Pied Flycatcher and a Lapland Bunting.
Bryher – A Common Kingfisher, a Common Rosefinch, a Wryneck, a Lapland Bunting, a Whinchat, a Pied and a 3 Spotted Flycatchers.
At sea – 2 Balearic Shearwaters and a Grey Phalarope.
Tuesday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – The 10 Pale-bellied Brent Geese were still at Porthloo, the Black-necked Grebe was still in Porthcressa Bay and 1 Wryneck was still on Peninnis. A Red-backed Shrike was on the Golf Course, a Kingfisher was in Lower Moors, a Pied & 2 Spotted Flycatchers were at Watermill and 5 Whinchats were at Salakee, with 2 more at Carn Friars.
St. Agnes – The Lesser Yellowlegs was still on the Big Pool and the Short-toed Lark was still in Browarth Fields. Also on the island were 2 Kingfishers and a Lapland Bunting.
Bryher – 2 Common Rosefinches, 2 Lapland Buntings, a Pied Flycatcher and 6 Whinchats.
Tresco – A Little Stint, a Woodchat Shrike, 2 Yellow Wagtails and a Pied Flycatcher.
Gugh – A Hen Harrier flew over.
