Friday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – A Red-rumped Swallow was over Telegraph and one was over the Garrison. A Golden Oriole was on the Garrison and 2were in Lower Moors where the Great Reed Warbler was seen again in the evening.
Tresco – The Snowy Owl was on Castle Down, the Iberian Chiffchaff was on Pool Road and a drake Garganey was on the Great Pool.
Bryher – A Subalpine Warbler, 2 Turtle Doves, a Quail and 3 Golden Orioles.
St. Agnes – 2 Golden Plover.
St. Martin’s – A Great Northern Diver and a Golden Oriole.
Saturday’s birds were:
Tresco – The Iberian Chiffchaff was still on Pool Road and the Snowy Owl was on Castle Down. A Golden Oriole was also on the island.
Bryher – The Dotterel was on Shipman Head Down early in morning before flying off, the Snowy Owl appeared in the evening and a Red-throated Pipit flew over. There was also a Lesser Redpoll on the island and a Goosander offshore.
St. Mary’s – An Iceland Gull was on the golf course, 2 Turtle Doves were at Rocky Hills and 1 was on Peninnis.
St. Agnes – A Golden Oriole was on Wingletang Down and it or another was later on Barnaby Lane.
St. Martin’s – An Arctic Tern was offshore
Sundays Birds were:
Tresco – The Snowy Owl was on Castle Down, the Iberian Chiffchaff was still on Pool Road and 6 Whimbrels were on the island.
St. Agnes –An Eastern Subalpine Warbler was in the garden of Rosevear Cottage also seen were 2 Turtle Doves, a Siskin and a Whimbrel.
St. Mary’s – A Redpoll sp. flew over Peninnis and a Siskin was in Hugh Town.
