Thursday’s birds were:

St. Mary’s – The Western Bonelli’s Warbler was seen again in the pines halfway along Sandy Lane.

St. Martin’s – A Dowitcher sp. was reported flying from White Island to Teän, present for a second day.

At sea – An evening pelagic trip 7 miles SE of St. Mary’s produced a Wilson’s Storm-petrel. 400+ European Storm Petrels, a Great & 9 Cory’s Shearwaters, 5 Great Skuas and 7 Blue Sharks were caught, tagged and released.

A Cory’s Shearwater, 2 Great Shearwaters, 13 Long-tailed Skuas and a Minke Whale were seen from the Scillonian III on the evening crossing from St. Mary’s to Penzance.

Wednesday’s birds were:

St. Mary’s – A Wryneck was on the Garrison, a Wood Warbler was in the pines midway along Sandy Lane and 2 Ruff & a Green Sandpiper were on Porth Hellick Pool.

St. Agnes – A 2 hour sea-watch from Horse Point produced 38 Cory’s, 3 Balearic and 2 Sooty Shearwaters.

At sea – 10 Cory’s Shearwaters, 2 Sabine’s Gulls and 10 European Storm-petrels were seen from the Scillonian III on the afternoon crossing from St. Mary’s to Penzance
