Monday’s birds were:

St. Mary’s – Pied Flycatchers widespread with 1 in a garden at High Lanes, 1 at Tremelethen, 2 in Carreg Dhu Gardens, 1 at Parting Carn, 1 by the Police Station in Hugh Town and 1 on the Garrison. An Osprey Flew over Lower Moors.

Bryher – 3 Pied Flycatchers.

Tresco – 3 Redshanks, 3 Whimbrels and 3 Wheatears.

At sea – Birders on an evening short-range pelagic trip saw 12 Great Shearwaters, 40+ European Storm-petrels, 6 Great Skuas, 30 Common Dolphins and a Blue Shark.

Tuesday’s birds were:

St. Mary’s – A Pied Flycatcher was still in the County Guesthouse garden at High Lanes and another was at Parting Carn.

St. Agnes – An Osprey Flew over Troy Town Farm at 08:15.

Wednesday’s birds were:

St. Mary’s – A juvenile Woodchat Shrike was at Salakee Farm and a Citrine Wagtail flew over Longstone. 4 Pied Flycatchers were on the Garrison and 1 was at Longstone.

St. Agnes – An Arctic Tern flew from the Big Pool towards Porth Coose. A sea watch produced a Great Shearwater, a Sooty Shearwater and a Pomarine Skua, a Quail was on Wingletang Down
