Saturday 2nd May
St Mary’s – The Great Blue Heron was in Lower Moors all day. Three Night Herons were seen over Lower Moors today
St Agnes – A Night Heron flew into Porth Killier
Sunday 3rd May
St Mary’s – The Great Blue Heron was in Lower Moors all day with two Night Herons also seen over this area and the Long-tailed Duck was still off Porth Mellon. The Corn Bunting was seen again on the airport this evening.
Tresco – A Night Heron was seen in flight heading towards Well Cover in the early afternoon
Bryher – A Purple Heron was seen near the pool in the early morning before being seen later high over Tresco Channel and later was seen twice on St Martins. A Wryneck and a Common Redstart were seen on the island later in the day.
