Tuesday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – A Siberian Chiffchaff was caught and ringed at Porth Hellick.
Wednesday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – Another Siberian Chiffchaff was caught and ringed at Porth Hellick & the Osprey was seen again over the Golf Course.
Tresco – 2 Black-necked Grebes were off Carn Near
Thursday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – A Grey Phalarope was on seaweed off Bar Point.
Tresco – A Long-tailed Duck was off New Grimsby.
Friday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – An Osprey flew over the Golf Course and then over Harry’s Walls towards Porth Mellon.
Tresco – The Long-tailed Duck was still off New Grimsby.
Saturday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – The Osprey flew over Hugh Town.
Sunday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – A male Eastern Black Redstart was found just before dusk by the old school at Carn Thomas. This is the first record for Scilly and only the 6th for the UK. The Osprey flew over Porth Hellick Pool towards Pelistry and a Black Redstart was in a garden on High Lanes.
Tresco – 140 Sanderlings and 47 Ringed Plovers.
