Highlights from Monday’s log included:

Green-winged Teal – 1 on the Great Pool, Tresco.

Short-toed Lark – 1 flew over Salakee towards the airfield.

Rose-coloured Starling – 1 still on Bryher.

Richard’s Pipit -1 still on Tresco.

Barred Warbler – 1 at Carn Gwaval.

Whooper Swan – 4 on Tresco..

Snow Bunting – 1 on the airfield.

Yellow-browed Warbler – 2 on St. Agnes and 1 on Tresco.

Firecrest – 8 on St. Mary’s and 2 on St. Agnes.

Short-eared Owl – 1 flew from Porth Hellick towards the airfield and 1 was on Bryher.

Shoveler – 2 Tresco.

Great Northern Diver – 1 flew past St. Martin’s.

Little Grebe – 3 Tresco.

Manx Shearwater – 1 flew past St. Martin’s.

Balearic Shearwater – 1 past St. Martin’s, 1 past St. Agnes and 1 from Scillonian.

Merlin – 1 St. Mary’s and 1 St. Martin’s.

Knot – 1 on Tresco.

Jack Snipe – 1 Lower Moors.

Bar-tailed Godwit – 2 Pelistry.

Common Sandpiper- 1 Porthcressa.

Pomarine Skua – 1 from the Scillonian.

Great Skua – 2 flew past St. Martin’s.

Mediterranean Gull – 1 Little Porth, 1 St. Martin’s and 2 Tresco.

Black Redstart – 1 Porthloo and 1 St. Agnes.

Whinchat – 1 Gugh.

Lesser Whitethroat – 1 Porth Hellick Loop.

Reed Bunting – 2 Lower Moors, 1 Porth Hellick and 2 Tresco.
