St. Mary’s – The Bluethroat & the Kingfisher were still in Lower Moors, another kingfisher was by Hugh Town Quay, a Red-breasted Flycatcher was at Watermill, a Wryneck was on Peninnis and single Pied Flycatchers were at Longstone & Green Farm. A Yellow-browed Warbler was on the golf course and 2 Firecrests were at Porth Hellick House, what were probably the same 2 Firecrests were seen around the corner on Salakee Lane. A Mediterranean Gull was in the Roads.
Bryher – A Spoonbill.
St. Martin’s – 2 Black-necked Grebes, a Whinchat and a Lapland Bunting.
St. Agnes – A Kingfisher, a Whinchat, a Spotted Flycatcher and a Firecrest.
Pelagic trip – A daytime outing produced a European Storm-petrel, 6 Balearic, 10 Manx & 12 Sooty Shearwaters, the first Grey Phalarope of the year, an Arctic & 3 Great Skuas 4 Puffins and a Minke Whale.
