Monday 25th August 2014 IoS Bird Sightings

St. Mary’s – 13 Greenshanks, 23 Ringed Plovers, a Yellow Wagtail & a Pied Flycatcher were at Porth Hellick and a Whimbrel & a Mediterranean Gull were at Porthloo. 2 Balearic Shearwaters flew past Giant’s Castle, 7 Wheatears were on the airfield, a Dunlin, a Common Snipe & a Kingfisher were in Lower Moors and another Pied Flycatcher was on the Garrison.

St. Agnes – A Ruff, a Whimbrel, 3 Dunlins, a Common Snipe, a Common Sandpiper, 2 Greenshanks, 20 Ringed Plovers and a White Wagtail.
