Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd July 2014 IoS Bird Sightings

Tuesday’s birds were:

St. Mary’s – A Wood Sandpiper, 5 Greenshanks and 2 Sand Martins were at Porth Hellick. 5 Swifts were over the island.

St. Agnes – 3 Swifts.

Gugh – A Common Sandpiper.

Wednesday’s birds were:

St. Mary’s – A Wood Sandpiper, 2 Green Sandpipers, 6 Greenshanks, a Whimbrel, a Kingfisher and 2 Sand Martins were at Porth Hellick. A Mediterranean Gull flew past Giant’s Castle.
