St. Mary’s – A Grasshopper Warbler and a Whinchat were at Lower Moors, a Yellow Wagtail was at Carn Friars, 3 Spotted Flycatchers, a Pied Flycatcher & 2 Yellow Wagtails were on the Garrison and a Common Redstart and a Pied Flycatcher were at Maypole. 2 Mediterranean Gulls were in Porthcressa Bay.
Tresco – There were 2 Citrine Wagtails near the Swarovski hide on the Great Pool. Also on the island were 9 Wheatears, a Whinchat, 4 Redshanks and 14 Greenshanks.
St. Agnes – 5 Whimbrels
At sea – Birds seen on a very quiet evening pelagic were 2 Arctic Skuas, a Great Skua and 10 European Storm-Petrels. An an Ocean Sunfish was also seen and 4 Blue Sharks were caught, tagged and released.
