Monday 17th June 2013 IoS Bird Sightings

St. Mary’s – The Ruddy Shelduck was on Newford duck pond, 3 Cuckoos were on Peninnis and a dark phase Arctic Skua flew past Porth Mellon.

Tresco – A Redwing was still on the island.

At sea – A Short-range pelagic trip produced just 20 European Storm-petrels and a Great Skua.
