Red-breasted Flycatcher, Porth Hellick, 26.05.13 (Elmarie Humphreys)
St. Mary’s – A Red-breasted Flycatcher was caught and ringed at Porth Hellick, this was only the fourth spring record for Scilly. A Cuckoo was at Porth Hellick and a Lesser Redpoll & a Siberian Chiffchaff were in Lower Moors.
Tresco – A Common Sandpiper, 5 Dunlins and 2 Common Buzzards.
Teän – 6 Black-tailed Godwits.

Samson – The 6 Black-tailed Godwits flew in from Teän before flying off towards St. Mary’s. Also on the island were 7 Dunlins, a Bar-tailed Godwit and 2 Yellow Wagtails.
Inter-island waters – 6 Risso’s Dolphins were seen near the Western Rocks and a Great Northern Diverwas seen from the ‘Seabird Special’ boat trip.
