St. Mary’s – The 6 Greenland White-fronted Geese were on Porth Hellick Pool and nearby the Little Ringed Plover was on the beach before returning to Lower Moors.
Tresco – The 3 Ring-necked Ducks, a Tufted Duck & a Pochard were all still on the Great Pool. There was a good selection of raptors on the island with 2 Common Buzzards, 2 Sparrowhawks, 2 Peregrines and a Merlin. Also present were 2 Swallows, a House Martin, 5 Fieldfares, a Redwing and 4 Brambling.
At sea – 2 Arctic Terns, 15 Manx Shearwater and 5 Kittiwakes were seen from the Scillonian between St. Mary’s and Wolf Rock.
