Brambling, St Mary's 300313 (J.Pender)
St. Mary’s – The 6 Greenland White-fronted Geese were back in the field on Carn Friars Farm behind the ringing station, the Goosander was in Porth Mellon and 7 Black Redstarts were on Porthloo Beach. A female Brambling was near the dump and a pair (including a cracking male) were in a garden on Church Road, Hugh Town. Another Scilly scarcity, a Long-tailed Tit was briefly at the junction of Old Town Lane and Airport lane before flying towards Parting Carn.
