St. Mary’s – The 6 Greenland White-fronted Geese were still on Carn Friars Farm and the pair of Pintail on Porth Hellick Pool had been joined by the other drake. A Firecrest was near the Stephen Sussex Hide at Porth Hellick and a Long-eared Owl was at Shooters’ Pool, Lower Moors at dusk. 18 Common Scoters and 8 Great Northern Divers were seen from McFarland’s Down.
Tresco – The 3 Ring-necked Ducks, a drake Shoveler & 2 Redshanks were on the Great Pool, 4 Short-eared Owls were by the woodpile and 4 Great Northern Divers were in Pentle Bay
