St. Mary’s – The first Wheatear of the year was on the coastal path between Juliet’s Garden Café and Carn Morvel. About 40 Alba Wagtails and 40 Skylarks where on the airfield and another 39 Skylarks flew over Longstone at dusk. A Coal Tit was along Sandy Lane, a pair of Pintails were on Porth Hellick Pool and the 6 Greenland White-fronted Geese were still on Carn Friars Farm in the field behind the ringing station.
Tresco – The first Swallow of the year was over the Great Pool.
