St Mary’s – A probable Rose-coloured Starling juvenile was seen flying from Rat Island on the Quay towards Hugh Town this morning but has not been relocated yet as there are large numbers of very mobile Starlings around the Garrison and Hugh town at the moment. A Yellow-browed Warbler was found by the lifeboat slip during the afternoon. A Water Pipit was found on the beach below Tregarthen’s Hotel this morning.
At Porth Hellick eight Crossbill’s flew over this morning and the six Greenland White-fronted Geese and the male Scaup are still on the Pool.
Tresco – There was a report of a kite sp. Seen over new Grimsby late on today.
Roads – The female Eider was still near Tresco and at least three Great Northern Divers were also noted along with one Scoter.
