The bird log will again be held in the Scillonian Club from Monday October 1st to Friday November 2nd . The Scillonian Club has offered the birders use of the Lyonnesse Bar at the back of the club. We will start off using this and if there is not enough room we can move up to the main bar. The club will also be putting special birders meals at £5.00
The usual temporary trails will be open, these are:
Peninnis Farm Trail which runs from half way down King Edwards Road (the central track along Peninnis) through the fields to Old Town Bay.
Sunnyside Trail which runs from Telegraph Road, just opposite the access gate to Shooters’ Pool across farmland finishing near 4 Lanes.
Tremelethen Trail which runs from Parting Carn through the wood and across fields to Salakee Farm.
There trails on The Garrison, which the Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust have cut through the pines are still permanently open
