St. Mary’s – The Western Bonelli’s Warbler was still on the Garrison, in elms along the path to Newman Pottery. An Ortolan Bunting was on Porth Hellick Down and nearby a Wood Warbler was in the sallows next to the Stephen Sussex hide on Porth Hellick Pool. A Garden Warbler was in Holy Vale and on Peninnis were a Yellow Wagtail and a late Cuckoo.
Tresco – The Short-billed Dowitcher was still on the beach near Skirt Island, it has now been present for 13 days, let’s hope it is not unlucky and it stays for the impending hoards!
St. Martin’s – A juvenile Rose-coloured Starling was at Higher Town, a Snow Bunting was on The Plains and 2 Lapland Buntings were on Tinker’s Hill.
St. Agnes – An Ortolan Bunting flew over Browarth.
