Blue-winged Teal, St Mary's (J.Pender)

St. Mary’s – The Blue-winged Teal, the Jack Snipe, a Firecrest and a Kingfisher were all in Lower Moors. A Black Redstart was on Old Town Beach, a first-winter drake Eider was in Town Bay, a juvenile Iceland Gull was at Porth Mellon and 2 Firecrests were at Porth Hellick. Birds seen from Innisidgen were 7 Pale-bellied Brent Geese, 2 Slavonian Grebes, 2 Eiders, 2 Great Northern Divers and 2 Pink-footed Geese flying past. The 2 Pink-footed Geese were later seen back at Mount Todden Farm.
