St Mary’s – The Northern Waterthrush was on Lower Moors again today, being seen on the ‘project ‘pool in the early morning along with the Solitary Sandpiper at one point before being seen from the ISBG hide later in the day. The Woodchat was again on the airport fence with a single Buff-breasted Sandpiper on the airport itself. Wrynecks were reported from Pungies Lane, Peninnis and the Dump area. The two Pectoral Sandpipers again commuted between Porth Hellick and Lower Moors.
St Martins – An American Golden Plover, the first of the autumn was at the Daymark with a Rose-coloured Starling on Little Arthur Farm and a Grey Phalarope was on the nearby Eastern Isles.
Bryher – A Tawny Pipit was norted on the island today
St Agnes – The Pectoral Sandpiper was on Periglis again and six Lapland Buntings were on Wingletang Down.
Tresco – Six Pectoral Sandpipers were on the Great Pool along with three Curlew Sandpipers.
