St. Mary’s – A Bee-eater flew over Longstone and a Swift was at Deep Point. 6 Greenshanks, 3 Common Sandpipers, a Whimbrel, 2 Curlews and the first Kingfisher of the autumn were all at Porth Hellick.
At sea – A quiet pelagic trip yielded just 10 European Storm-petrels and 2 Great Skuas.
