Monday 14th March IoS Bird Reports

At Porth Hellick a Reed Bunting, 5 Teal, a Pochard & a Wigeon were on the pool and 4 Black Redstarts, including a cracking male were on the beach. where a Raven, a Peregrine & a Kestrel flew over. Another Black Redstart & a Merlin were on the Golf Course, a Common Scoter was in Hugh Town Harbour and 5 White & 8 Pied Wagtails were at the campsite on the Garrison.

Bryher – A very early Quail was seen near Fraggle Rock.
