Sunday 5th December 2010 IoS Bird Reports

St. Mary’s – The 3 Pale-bellied Brent Geese and the female Goldeneye were still at Porthloo. 14 Snipe flew over High Lanes, the Water Pipit was still on the beach below the quay car park and 2 Common Gulls, 20 Sanderlings & a male Black Redstart were at Little Porth. On the airfield there were 150+ Golden Plovers, 30+ Lapwings, 19 Ringed Plovers, 6 Dunlin, 3 Snipe, 20 Redwings, 3 Fieldfares, a Mistle Thrush and 2 Skylarks.
