St. Mary’s – The Spotted Sandpiper & Pectoral Sandpiper were still on Porth Hellick Pool and a Kingfisher & a Hobby were at Old Town Bay. A juvenile Woodchat Shrike was in the Mount Todden/Pelistry area, where 2 Lapland Buntings flew over, a Yellow-browed Warbler was at Higher Moors and a Firecrest was in Carreg Dhu Gardens. A Great Northern diver was off Innisidgen, a Snow Bunting was on Peninnis, the first Red-breasted Flycatcher of the year was near Longstone and a Mediterranean Gull was on Taylor’s Island, Porthloo.
St. Agnes – 6 Lapland Buntings and A female Marsh Harrier.
St. Martin’s – 3 Snow Buntings, 2 Golden Plover and 40 Sanderling.
Bryher – The Wryneck was still near the pool.
Samson – The Spoonbill was still present.
Birders on the morning crossing of the Scillonian saw a Balearic Shearwater, a Sooty Shearwater, a Black Tern, an Arctic and 2 Great Skuas.
