Grey Heron numbers reports increased significantly with groups of 22 in Tresco Channel, 10 Peninnis and 9 on Hedge Rock.

St. Mary’s – 2 Whooper Swans on Porth Hellick, Pintail at Newford duck Pond, 5 Common Scoters in the Roads, Golden Plover on Porth Hellick Down, 4 Lapwings at Kittydown, 2 Jack Snipe on Shooters’ Pool, Arctic Tern & Wryneck at Porth Minnick, Richard’s Pipit on the airfield, Spotted Flycatcher in Holy Vale, 2 Bramblings at Longstone and Common Rosefinch at Carn Gwaval. Also on the island were 2 Mediterranean Gulls,11 Black Redstarts, 2 Common Redstarts, 2 Yellow-browed Warblers, 6 Ring Ouzels and 11 Firecrests.

Tresco – 11 Wigeon, 2 Pintail, 4 Pochard, 2 Little Grebe, Mediterranean Gull, Wryneck, 2 Black Redstarts, Red-breasted Flycatcher and a Lapland Bunting.

St. Agnes – 2 Whooper Swans.

St. Martin’s – 2 Golden Plover, Woodcock, Yellow-browed Warbler and 4 Firecrests.

BryherGolden Plover, 2 Grey Plover (this autumn’s first), Woodcock, 3 Black Redstarts, 2 Yellow-browed Warblers and Rose-coloured Starling.

Samson – 4 Spoonbills and 4 Shelducks.
