St Mary’s – Red Kite still at 13.35hrs appeared to fly out to sea from Peninnis head but was then located on St Agnes and over the north end of Gugh still at 15.00hrs.

St Mary’s – Red Kite still over Golf Course and Juliets Garden at 18.00hrs. (Seen earlier on St Martin’s) (Thanks J.Pender) White Stork reported over island this evening. Iceland Gull at St Mary’s Quay today.
St Mary’s – WESTERN SUBALPINE WARBLER (male) in isolated bush opposite the tennis courts on The Garrison briefly on Saturday morning. St Martin’s – Common Buzzard north of St Martin’s and over St Helens on Sunday. Tresco – Jackdaw near Rowesfield on Sunday

St Mary’s – *CATTLE EGRET* still in allotment by dump. Gugh – Sandwich Tern (2) on island today.
St Mary’s – Iceland Gull and Rook (2) at Porthloo this morning.
St Mary’s – *CATTLE EGRET* still at Dump. Iceland Gull flew from Taylor’s Island towards Porth Mellon. Great Northern Diver (11) and Black-throated Diver offshore. St Mary’s – *CATTLE EGRET* still in allotment near Dump and two Iceland Gulls there this morning. Scillonian III – Puffin seen from Scillonian III in Scilly waters this morning.
The Cattle Egret remained faithful to the area of the dump on St Mary’s throughout the month and was joined throughout by one or two Iceland Gulls. A Rook was at the dump on the 2nd and a Black-tailed Godwit found a small pool in a field near standing stones field at Lower Moors, to its liking. (more…)
